People living in this tropical archipelago are very proud of their culture that was built up along centuries of various influences. Filipinos have an Asian soul, a westerner spirit and their heartbeat follows the latino rhythms. Warm smiles are welcoming you to show you the real meaning of hospitality.

You are heading to the Central Visayas, an archipelago in which you can hop from an island to another island and have extraordinary encounters. You can indeed swim with the whale-sharks, see a school of sardines and observe amazing coral reefs. Waterfalls, tropical jungle, coconut trees, sand bars bathed by a warm and turquoise sea will be your daily environment.

Detailed program

Day 1 - Manila : Welcome to the Philippines (Mabuhay!)
Upon arrival in Manila airport (NAIA), your driver will be waiting for you outside the corresponding terminal, bay 3, to take you to your hotel near Manila: Hotel Benilde Maison de la Salle
A hundred years in the history, De La Salle University aims to connect faith and education in the service of society while staying motivated by the founder's charism, and aspires to be atop learner-centered research. To also help and support working students, the University broadened its reach by offering evening classes through The College of Career Development, a DLSU academic unit. Numerous years after the establishment of DLSU system, the community college was renamed De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde.
In 1999, in order to respond to the demands of the hospitality sector for a really top-notch hospitality education. The College of Saint Benilde's Hotel & Restaurant Intitution Management established a hotel school which was initially opened as CSB Hotel and continuously gave quality programs and practiced the hotel business and education. Following the years, The CSB Hotel was renamed Hotel Benilde Maison De La Salle in 2014 and most recently spinned off into a full commercial operation under a new management group.
Manila is the bustling capital of the Philippines, making it the center of commerce, culture, and government in the entire country. It also serves as the gateway for local and international travelers, with its major airport terminals and busy seaports serving many trips from within and outside of the country.

Before anything, it is essential to know that Manila can mean two ways. First, it can mean the City of Manila, which is made up of 16 administrative districts. It is also referred to as “Old Manila” by many locals. Second, Manila may mean the National Capital Region (NCR) or Metro Manila, made up of several cities such as Manila City, Makati, Quezon City, Pasay, and Taguig, among others.

Day 4 - Dumaguete: countryside day tour
In the morning, after breakfast — between 8:30 and 9:00 AM — a driver will pick you up for a scenic day exploring the countryside of Dumaguete.
The island of Negros, located in the Western Visayas, is divided into two provinces: Negros Oriental to the northeast with Dumaguete as its capital, and Negros Occidental to the southwest, with Bacolod as its capital. Negros is famous for having the largest sugarcane plantations in the country, making it one of the world’s major sugar producers — earning it the nickname “Sugar Island.”
In the southern part of the island, the Tablas Plateau offers breathtaking scenery, home to the Twin Lakes and the striking Casaroro Falls. Along the way, you’ll enjoy coastal landscapes where the powdery white beaches of the west coast contrast beautifully with the secluded, dark-sand coves of the east.
Your adventure begins after breakfast, as you set off to discover Dumaguete’s highlands — a lush, mountainous, and volcanic region filled with lakes, waterfalls, and hot springs.
You’ll first head to Valencia, where you’ll visit the Pulang Bato Falls, known for their iron-rich, reddish waters that originate from Mount Talinis, the highest peak in the province. You’ll have the chance to swim beneath the falls or take a dip in a refreshing spring-fed pool. Before returning to the resort, you’ll make a stop at a nearby hot spring, a perfect spot to unwind. Negros, notably, is one of the four Philippine regions harnessing geothermal energy, with its power plant providing electricity for the city and neighboring towns.
From there, you’ll continue your journey around Dumaguete, following the east coast before ascending toward the Twin Lakes, located around 900 meters above sea level. These lakes, remnants of ancient volcanic craters, are surrounded by lush rainforest. Along the way, you’ll pass by idyllic landscapes of rice fields, coconut palms, distant volcanoes, and scenic beaches.
Before reaching Balinsasayao Natural Park, you’ll stop for lunch at a local restaurant offering panoramic views over the Tañon Strait and the valley below.
Balinsasayao Park is a protected natural reserve, home to diverse species of flora and fauna. You can either cross the first lake by boat or hike around it on foot. At the far side, a view deck awaits, offering a stunning vantage point of both Balinsasayao and Danao Lakes nestled amid the dense forest.
After this nature-filled excursion, your driver will take you back to your hotel for some well-earned relaxation before dinner.

In the morning, you're free to roam around and walk the streets of Dumaguete to see the market, the plaza, the St Catherine of Alexandria Cathedral, you might want to try the Silvannas, Dumaguete's delicacy.
It's the Filipino answer to a frozen, nutty macaroon sandwich—think mini version of the classic Sans Rival cake. They feature two crisp–chewy cashew-meringue wafers 🤎 filled with a layer of decadent French buttercream, then rolled in cashew crumbs or graham cracker bits. Served well‑chilled or straight from the freezer, they’re a luxurious blend of textures: beginning crisp, melting creamy, and always indulgent. You can find them in the restaurant Sans Rival, along the boulevard.
Before noon, it will be time to head to the port of Dumaguete. From there, you will board on the fast craft (Ocean Jet) to go to Siquijor. Departure is at 1pm. It only takes 45 to 50 minutes to reach the island of fire.
