Day 3 - Moalboal : Kawasan Canyoneering Adventure

After breakfast, between 8:30 and 9am, we will take the road towards Badian and the famous Kawasan falls (or those of Alegria according to your preferences and knowing that those of Kawasan were hard hit by typhoon Odette in December 2021). It takes about 25-30 minutes to reach your destination.

Tours that feature canyoneering to Kawasan Falls are arguably the most popular because they are thrilling and adventurous. The objective of canyoneering is to travel down a river or canyon, usually in a group. But instead of simply hiking, canyoneering participants accomplish the journey by doing a mix of activities like climbing, trekking, cliff diving, and swimming.

At the end of this adventure, lunch will be served and then, we will make a stop by the beach of Lambug in Badian, a very beautiful white sand beach where it is good to rest.

In the afternoon, we will return to Moalboal where you will still have time to enjoy the beach, the sardine run and the swimming pool until dinner time.

Day 4 - Moalboal - Siquijor: whale shark watching and transfer to the island of fire

Today, you're leaving early, around 6am, to go to Oslob, at the southern tip of Cebu island.

Oslob is now very famous all over the world for its whale-sharks. It’s one of the rare spots where you can watch and swim with the biggest fish of the world. Some specimen reach 14 meters long and can weigh up to 10 tons. However, the ones in Oslob are young males and are a bit smaller. Very peaceful and harmless for the humans, it only eats plankton or small fishes (sardines, anchovies) as well as krill. Due to its peaceful nature, its nickname is the Embassador of the sharks, it is a protected specie.

In Oslob, you will have the opportunity to get a close encounter with this amazing animal. This is an unforgettable and once in a life time experience. You will board small boats (bancas) that will bring you closer to these animals. Those who wish to swim with them will be allowed to do so with a snorkelling gear.

The island of fire is one of the many nicknames of this little island of the Philippines. The place is respected and admired as a famous spot for witchcraft. Every year, many visitors, locals and foreigners gather together to purchase medicinal herbs and ointments.

Welcome to the Coco Grove resort and its 700 meter long beach along the coral reef.

You will stay in this nice resort with its private beach where the Tubod marine sanctuary is located, directly accessible from the shore. So you can enjoy the marine life with your snorkelling gear. All the rooms are less than 50 meters away from the 700 meter long beach. Beside the swimming pools, The amenities include two restaurants, a bar, 3 swimming pools, a spa and a dive shop.

The traditional massage in the Philippines is best known as Hilot which means massage or healer in tagalog. Hilot is not only a technic, it has a lot in common with acupuncture and aromatherapy. It aims to improve the bloodstream and all body fluids circulation, it helps “digesting” emotional problems and trauma. Hilot is more than an art for Filipinos, it is a culture and a philosophy. Such a massage is often associated with herbs, but what really makes it different from other massages is the use of warm leaves with virgin coconut oil applied on the body before and after the massage.
